Dead Serious:- A summary
Dead Serious is an on-going project linked with the website: www.nocturnalstillness.com and is a serial zombie story. It is written in a simple day-by-day format from the initial infection and then following groups of survivors as the try to stay alive. Each day can be read seperate but some follow on from the other as they can switch between current survivors and new survivors as well as new survivors crossing into the area that old survivors are in without interacting with them.
As of today there are currently thirteen days written up; Day 0 (zero) to Day 12 and I am currently in the middle of day 13.
People seem to be enjoying the stories so far so thats a good thing. I plan to keep writing until I run out of survivors or even perhaps the outbreak is wiped out for good, maybe even have the last surviving human on the planet finally learns how to cure the infected days after killing the last zombie...wouldn't that be ironic? Well I'll just have to see where the story takes me.
So on that note I'll sign off for this post, keep reading and I hope keep enjoying what you read :)

To do list
Here are the following projects I am currently working on:
1) Dead Serious :- as mentioned in my first post, this is an on-going story and will be added to periodically depending on my spare time etc.
2) Vampire City and Tales from the Shadows :- My main book, this has been on and off for awhile now, to sum it up I've written it up and have sent a few copies out for reader input, due to the approaching christmas this won't see a release until the new year.
3) Lost Descendant :- this is the follow up book and is currently a WIP currently eighteen chapters so far.
4) I've also got the following WIP to work on; Shadow of an angel, O.A.Z and Mem-re-call
5) I'm also helping a friend with the back story for his text-based role-playing game.
6) Personal commitments (i.e. work, family, friends etc)
As you can see my time is quite packed at the moment, so if I don't post much I haven't gave up just can't post. Though I've set myself a target of posting at least one post a week, so feel free to come back to see what I'm rambling about.

A new beginning
Well first of all let me say Hello. My name is Matthew and I like to think I'm a writer and a decent one at that. Well I currently own and run two websites; namely http://www.nocturnalstillness.com/ which is an online story site, which features an ongoing zombie serial called Dead Serious set in a day by day format (it is currently twelve days long with day thirteen about 25% written) as well as other stories and the opportunity for other writers to submit their own tales. It also has a forum which is currently not very active (hopefully though this blog will lead more people to join). I also run http://www.matts-tales.com/ which is my official website which gives information about my forthcoming book(s) as well as offer people the chance to check out my work in a preview section.
The title of this post I called 'a new beginning' solely because this blog will be a new attempt to get more people interested in my work as well as offer people who are already interested to go to one place to find the latest news on my work.
