Dead Serious: Under Revision

I'm currently rewriting the days of Dead Serious. So if anyone has spotted any errors please let me know so I can get them all.

Mission Advertise

Well this weekend I've been busy trying to advertise my book and get stores to stock it.

Below shows the attempts I made as well as the current situation with them;

1) I have approached my local newspaper 'The Wolverhampton Chronicle' and they currently have a copy of the book as well as the press release:- they should be getting back to me and hopefully it'll mean I will get an article in the paper.

2)I approached my local 'Waterstones' and they too have had a copy of the book and press release:- the manager is supposed to be discussing the book with the person who runs their horror section and are also getting back to me and hopefully they will agree to stock it.

3)I've wrote a letter to the head office of 'Forbidden Planet' two weeks ago but hadn't heard anything from them. So earlier today I rang them and learnt my letter hadn't arrrived yet so I've e-mailed the letter and press release I'd sent previously and got a reply saying they would have a look and get back to me so again they may hopefully agree to stock it.

4)I approached a goth shop in Wolverhampton and enquired wherether they would be interested in stocking it and they have had a copy of the book and the press release and intend to see if their customers would like to buy my kind of book.

i've also approched'The Works' and 'WH Smith' but these two I'm having to write to head offices so will take awhile longer.

I've just gone through all the dead serious stories and have fixed any errors I could find. so Enjoy!

the reason for the editing is a new project I am working on:

Dead Serious: The graphic novel.

Basically I'm after fifteen different artists to turn each day into an individual comic to be combined to make a free online comic. No money will be made so what the artist gets is simply advertising and publicity.

Hey Guys, I'm feeling better now. So hope you've not missed me too much ha ha.

I am currently moving to a new flat this weekend which means my internet will be down for awhile so again there will be no updates.

Dead serious will not be having an update for a week or so, due to me finding issues with my book. So I'll be focusing all my time and effort on fixing it.

I've also given the 'Dead Serious' page a bit of a makeover so you can access the days quicker without having to scroll down too much.

I also want to talk about BOTS, they are little programs that search for forums and then create accounts so they can post links to websites (usually of an adult nature). To tackle the issue of them joining my forum I've activated a Admin approval system, in which every new member is required to wait till I've checked them out before they can post. However even this has been unsuccessful and I've been getting swamped by bots. I think as of today I've had to delete over 100 fake accounts created by a bot.

I don't know about you, but it's seriously annoying.

Well if anyone has an idea on how to stop the bots feel free to comment!

2008:- A new year

Hey I hope everyone enjoyed their new year's celebration.

2008 is going to be busy for me as I want to get my head down and sort out a few things such as my book which has been dragging on for far too long.
